Historic Cedarwood is such a beautiful place. It’s even more beautiful when a couple like Kris & DeeDee decide to get married there. I arrived early to attend the rehearsal. I like to do that in order to determine camera and mic placement, as well as video some candid moments. After the rehearsal, DeeDee put on her wedding dress and we went up on the hill with her photographer Krista (kristaleephotography) to take some photographs + video.

Shortly thereafter, DeeDee began reading a letter that Kris had written for that very moment. They were about to see each other for the first time that day. As you’ll see in the video, Kris then walked up from behind DeeDee while she looked in the opposite direction. The anticipation on both of their faces were priceless. It was an honor to be able to capture this moment for them. After they greeted, Kris then pulled out his Bible and they read from it and prayed together.
